Healthcare
- Last year, a new ambulance was provided to the Catholic hospital in Lodonga, Uganda. Uganda is the 19th poorest nation in the world and this hospital in the bush country NW of Kampala had no way to transport patients from rural villages to Lodonga. The ambulance also is used to transport patients to Kampala for specialist care. In 2022, SSCF provided a blood analyzing machine for the hospital, a vital piece of equipment for necessary care.
- The Lodonga hospital has only one physician to provide health care for that region of Uganda. SSCF paid for his annual salary.
